Beware of online banking phishing sites

For some time now, there have been many reports of people losing their cash due to phishing websites.

Just what is a phishing website?

Simply put, It is a website created by evil doers to steal your online banking's username and password. From that, they can clear out your banking account in a matter of minutes if not seconds.

Below is a picture of a normal looking email from CIMB (which i just received today). Looks pretty well done huh.

However, just take a second and hover you mouse and point to the link in the middle. Clearly clicking the link isn't going to a CIMB website but to www.radyumtekstil.com. This simple method proves that it is a phishing website sent to target you ! Do not login from there ! If you need to do online banking, just google cimb/cimb clicks/cimb online banking and bookmark it.

It's that easy to prevent yourself from being the next victim.
